I don&#039;t know how I found this site, but it has helped me retain Japanese. You should start by learning the hiragana and katakana, and then vocabulary. The practice sheets are printable and can help you practice writing. This might be a bit too big of a step at first, so you may want to come back to this site once you use other things on your own to learn the writing system and learn how to read it.
